At Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake, The SPA welcomes you with rituals inspired by the 18th-century Emperor Qianlong, whose love for West Lake was legendary. Experience the pampered world of the Emperor and his courtesans in this sleek 21st-century sap enclave, dedicated to relaxation and revitalization. Guests enter each of nine double-bed treatment rooms through a round door leading to a small foyer that accesses a personal shower/change room before proceeding through the relaxation area to the treatment area, where one or two tables await. The sense of envelopment is taken to a new level with subtly changing lighting and aromas to enhance the chosen treatments or rituals. Once complete, guests may relax with optional music and a soothing herbal drink before leaving the room.
