Sohum Spa beautifully captures the local architecture, using raw granite and interspersed with Indian artefacts that reflect the message of an aesthetically divine space. All this is mixed with a dose of contemporary clean modern architecture. In eight healing rooms, of which two are for ayurveda, therapists offer the best of Indian, Oriental and European treatments. Guests can enjoy the lush spa that has been built with textures of old stone, timber and beaten copper. Based on different themes, each of the eight treatment rooms has a mythological animal print signifying the different moods that the rooms encompass. The Spa’s prime emphasis is Ayurveda, this ancient science focuses on establishing and maintaining the balance of energies within oneself, promoting harmony between the individual and nature which in turn promotes good health.
