tashas Morningside was founded in Johannesburg, South Africa by Natasha Sideris. There are currently 17 locations in South Africa and four in the UAE with further expansion in the works. With beautiful food, stunning environments and engaging personal service, each tashas location is inspired by a place or a time which is reflected in both the menus and the design of each individual store.
The restaurant opened in 2009. The Modern Market is the inspiration for this location. Offering fresh juices and healthy meals in a bright beautiful space. In keeping with all tashas’ locations, it is similar in some ways and different in others using authentic materials with character and longevity.

While tashas Morningside serves the classic menu that is available at all tashas in South Africa, the restaurant also has an inspired menu with a wonderful selection of healthy eats including Sweet Corn Fritters, Chicken and Wild Rice Salad as well as the famous Verde Chicken Soup. The menu also features fresh juices, smoothies as well as boosters, wheatgrass and ginger shots.
