Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle is located on elevated ground near the confluence of the Ruak and Mekong Rivers, in the heart of the Golden Triangle, the Tented Camp overlooks three countries simultaneously: Thailand, Burma (Myanmar) and Laos. Guests approach the camp by boat down the Ruak River. Thick stands of bamboo and other native trees envelop the camp, which is spread out along a roughhewn one km trail. The tropical jungle atmosphere brings life and colour to the area’s notorious history.
Generously positioned away from each other for privacy, 15 luxurious, fully air-conditioned, customised tents and one Explorer’s Lodge provide guests with all the comforts they have come to expect of Four Seasons. The furnishings and decor are reminiscent of 19th century adventure expeditions with handcrafted furniture, hardwood floors, mosquito nets and hurricane lamps.
